If I gave somebody an $850 phone as a gift and they proceeded to sell it I would take it back and give them nothing for the rest of their natural lives!

$850 is the going rate for a 32gb.

I'd be chasing $600-$700 and i wouldn't list it here. Go put it on ebay or TradingPost and you might get somewhere.

Why the hell would you keep your old iphone when this one was FREE and better in every way? Just use it and sell your old one :?

It'd make more sense if you were selling both iphones and buying a real phone.

You still have 12 month warranty with apple.
You don't need receipts.
Plus, there is a 6 week wait to buy them.

come on swifty, i reckon your never going to sell an iphone on here when most of us wouldnt buy a sierra worth that much. i also reckon your a little ungrateful, sell it and give the gifter back their hard earned.
good luck with the sale

Only telstra has em. you can't buy them outright.
Ring optus etc. Even Apple. they have none.
Plus, this is unlocked!

One day someone might join this forum looking to buy a iphone and a bmx.

I don't want it. I'm happy with my 99 buck nokia. It makes calls, it's great.

$99 samsung, not only does it make calls, but it recieves them as well, yaaaaa.

In my time at sea, i have worked out, a $1,000 phone falls out of ya pocket, and into the drink, lost forever, just as well as a $100 phone.

Weird but true.

i have found a 120$ phone has lasted me longer then any 500$ to 1000$ phone as less chance of people going sweet stealing it or even dropping it or whatever. i could buy nearly 8 of my phones in the time i own 1 iphone. and would prob break iphone quicker

I've had my nokia for about 4 years. A mate has had 3 iphones die on him in the last year (luckily covered by Warren T (Ice T's brother)).

My nokia the other week died. Turned out it was the sim card. Happy Days!

Ive had my 16gb iPhone 3G for over a year now and it hasnt missed a beat. still running the original 2.1 software or whatever it is and its also jail broken. Bought it outright 2nd hand in box and in perfect condition with all the original stuff including 9 months warranty from some guy who was "over it".. Best $450 I've EVER spent :D

The convenience of just bieng able to jump on auszookers whenever i want / check emails / ebay / movie times / Maps / music / movies / download stuff off youtube to watch whenever i want + Everything else you can possibly imagine is just awesome.. User interface is great aswell.

As long as your carefull and treat them right they will last you. put a decent skin on them so they dont smash when they get dropped and your sweet.. I've dropped mine countless times from up to 5 feet on concrete and it has just bounced and been fine (Y)..

Haha anyways thats my take on iPhones :P I'll shut up now lol
