Anyone know how much it will cost me to replace the ECT Sensor I broke when changing the water pump? The little tab that the socket plugs onto separated. For now, I've cobbled one together using electrical connectors, but wouldn't like to trust this for very long.

LOL - that's the one (I think - the one right near the water pump that attaches to what I think is the thermostat).

Given the wife nearly cooked the motor twice, I'm probably wasting my time fixing it, as she never seems to look at it anyway!

once the coolant level drops below the sensor it doesnt show as hot, I nearly cooked mine with a slightly split top hose, only picked up on it by chance that I drove home a different way and the traffic made the gauge rise a little and I noticed the steam from the coolant spraying the head sitting a set of lights
