Anyone know where to find 16" rims in a sierra stud pattern.
Looking for a bit of offset too.

Reasoning....
Know of a cheap set of tyres, plus need new rims because my current ones have what appears to be negative offset and cause rubbing also more tyres seem to be available in a 16" version

mate ive found kings make them in a few differnt offsets and dynamic do aswell but dont know what the offsets are like on those

haha there is one at the elcho rubbish dump attached to a soft top tailgate.
spotted it yesterday. even has a good 6.50x16 tyre on it.

Theres a bloke in vic who has been trying to sell about 50 rims some with tyres for about 5 bucks each. Check ebay for f100 under wheels and tyres

Most 16 inch F truck wheel's are 6 stud..

Er, no they're not.

ALL F100's and 150's are 5 on 5.5 Stud pattern, same as sierra. It's the centre bore that's wrong for a 4WD.

ALL 4WD F100/150's in Australia were factory with 15X7" rims.

2WD F100's - who knows, but there are clearly both 16 and 15" Most 15" would suit a sierra, the factory 16's need the bore opened up.

F250's (and 350's) are 8 lug.

Chevy's are 6 lug (same as landcruiser) unless they are 8 lug. with the 2500/3500's.

Later model F150 has a larger 5 stud pattern. From memory 1996-97 and later.

I would have thought that in the long run 15" rims would be cheaper for tyres, and the tyre choices would be just as good if not better in 15". Most nissan patrols run 15", maybe there might be a wider range for 16" but the hassle in sorting rims would not be worth it. As far as negative offset, is it not better for clearance and wheel track width? What are they rubbing on? I just bought some 31" maxxis bighorns for 15" rims for $190 fitted and I'm sure there are places that could be cheaper.

dunno 190 is pretty cheap, there on sale in Perth at the mo for 209 a piece.

15's will have the cheapest tyre options.

16's aren't far behind, and even 17's will only be $10 a tyre more, as many of the larger 4wd's are coming standard with 17's these days.

So get 17's
