this is prob an easy fix but i cant seem to figure it out. went 4x4ing the other week and now my clutch is squeeky as , sounds like its just in the cable somehow, drove through some fair deep puddles and think thats got something to do with it. i've tried putting wd40 everywhere but it hasnt helped, any ideas?

Yeah it would be ezier to undo it from gearbox end and pull it up through the engine bay and then spray down the cable
But just thinking about i dont really think the cable would make a squeeking sound
Have ya sprayed the clutch pedel?

i had the same - sprayed inox lube stuff (better than WD40) all over the clutch pedal inside the cab one day after work, and again the following... next morning it was gone.
