This could be a stupid question but was just thinking today would it be possible to put a vitara body on a sierra chassis?

Floor pans are way different, would be too much work for not much gain

probably a quicker and easier job to sas the vitara instead.keep the better wheelbase etc too

Backwards step IMO.
Keep the VIT platform and modify it. That way you won't have to jump through the legal hoops that are ICV engineering.

I'm possitive that will be less work than doing an ICV. I'd bet my life on it.

thanks for the comments guys much appreciated. hadnt ever read anything or seen anyone do a conversion like that so though it might be because of legal reasons or not much gain in the end. Yeah SAS conversion would be good. what sort of price roughly would you expect to pay for an SAS?

Engineered? $5-7K That should cover parts and labour.
