G'Day, I was just wondering if anybody can tell me a good set of extractors that will fit a 2010 Jimny ? Just want a bit more power.
I see suzisport.com have a set for $450. Does anybody have a set of them ? Is there a noticeable increase in power / economy ?
Thanks
Guy

Got some of these for my old, and now gone, 89 Vit, they are well made, and work well... some say they cant notice any difference with extractors, but when i got them, and a 2in Sports System put on, i definitely felt the difference just one thing to note, a standard exhaust will give you ok power over a wide RPM range, extractors with a sports exhaust sytem, will move the power/torque to a higher RPM, so it may feel a bit sluggish at low RPM, but once you hit about 3000 RPM, you will feel the difference, and more power/torque...

Unless a header is costing you $1000+ and has some actual proof of RND gone into the flow and design
Then it's all the same.
Ebay, your local muffler shop, DC or Megan Headers, or anything else that 'claims' to be reputable.
Sure they give a gain in power, i have some generic extractors on my Accord and they had some nice gains (Power and sound!)
But you're kidding yourself if you think Suzisport or Genie makes anything better than what eBay has to offer
The build quality is NEVER better, the power gains are the SAME
The only difference is quality control.
You'll always buy a good Suzisport/Genie/etc header
Whereas probably 1 in 5 off eBay have weld defects and other badness
But the other 4/5 will be perfectly fine, and be every bit identical in quality to the "reputable brand name" ones

Got email back from Rod at Max Perf from ebay. He doesn't know when he'll do jimny ones.
Got prices from Brad at Genie - $330 fitted for the extractors and can't remember how much for rest. But that'll do me. Getting it done sometime after snorkel fitting next week.
Cheers, Guy

These are Genie Wildcat extractors that have been ceramic coated. Cost $225 for the coating but they will last forever and they do look good.
