I have an air box and some pipe to hook up instead of the current air cleaner.
Moving to brisbane sort of rushed up and didn't get to finish it.

If the bloke in Tas wants to buy it and can get the car down to melbourne by the 4th March, I can get a mate to drive it on and off the ferry as part of our convoy.

looks like a great setup. it's very tempting.

how do you find the supercharged setup?
i'm looking at changing the 1.3l out of my coily it'd almost be worth getting to swap the motors over and still end up with a fairly tidy looking vehicle.

If you bought the ute to pull parts for the coily, you'd be a massive knob. Sell the coily to fund the utes's 'tidy-up'

yeh i can relate to that except there is a bit of method to the madness. there is a bit of history behind the coily so not keen to get rid of it, and i also have a young mate who is looking to get a vehicle, i don't think the engine mod allows non open drivers to drive it in queensland?

Fair enough.

I just hope the new owner gives it the respect it deserves. 8)

Yeah, P platers couldn't drive it because of the 1.6 (let alone the boost). If they could I'd be letting someone know about this car....

yeah fair enough, i guess it depends how you look at it, if the motor in it is the whole vehicle or not?

supercharging would probably be an overkill for what i use my vehicle for anyway, i do a lot of driving and get into some pretty remote spots but i don't drive it that hard, i certainly don't go to the extremes that some of the lads on here do! I'd rather not break gear if i can avoid it!

Its a shame about the license class issue because it'd be perfect for my mate otherwise, and with the coily, 4 motorbikes (at least only 1 is registered), a boat and trailer, and box trailer i don't want to be paying any more to QLD transport and insurance mobs!

^^^ Get your mate to buy it and then swap him vehicles till he gets his opens :p

EDIT: I'm going looking for a build thread to see what it took to charge that thing, also, does it make a big difference to the motor?

Not that I'm going to charge the 1.3, but I don't think I'll ever get around to a 4agze conversion...
