i have to replace the 5speed in the vit was asked buy the wreckers if it had a 25 or 16 spline in where the tailshaft goes, can anyone help, its a 92/93 vitara 16b

If you want to be 100% sure pull the shaft out and count the splines

yeah they changed about 92-93
you have to pull it out and anyway and its only 4 bolts

only the engines above 1.6 had the coarser splines.

if its old estate shape, 1.6, it will be fine spline.

I was replying to Joeblow..
2 diffrent Suzuki's in Aus.. Suzuki Qld & Suzuki Aus.
Thay fight, thay don't share, thay have imported different model's from time to time..
