Hey All,

Got another Question???

My Vitara is lifted, at the front with 40mm lifted king springs (which did nothing) and 30mm coil spacers! But now it tops out when off road!!

My question is will OLD MAN EMU front struts fix this??

Is this what people mean by OME??

As ARB couldnt inform me if they have more travel or not!

Also what shocks do you guys recommend in the rear, as thes 2 are topping out, with only the lifted king springs fitted, (no spacers) or am i just better to fork out for the Calmini 3 inch lift??

Dont really want to go this option due to cost

Any help would really be appreicated!!

hi

i have a set of strut spacers - ( 40mm ) that would solve the topping out and for the rear im working on spacers for those 2, but if your after shocks i would go rancho's.

Yes OME = Old Man Emu.. And they are 30mm longer if I remember. They are the best option for the front of your Vit. Most of us run with them including me. As for the rear you may like to look at something like Rancho's

If you get onto Bruce he is selling a set of RS5000 & RX9000 Adj rear shocks which should fit your Vit. He has some OME's too but they are for a GV and not sure if they will fit, Royce may well know.

mate with them springs and spacers its any wonder you have any suspension travel either way

you are pushing shit up hill to try and have big lift and travel in a vitara, its show or go I'm afraid

get Bruces struts and shocks, dont worry about spacing things that shouldnt be spaced and try and get some better springs, youll enjoy it off road a lot more

Well I figure you must have asked this question on just about every forum there is and the same answer keeps coming up........OME struts. Buy Bruce's as they are the same ones for both the Vit and the GV.
