Catchy title, but don't read into it too far.

Bruce, you're probably best to answer this. I want to dull the finish of those black plastic mudflaps you made a while back before I finally fit them on. Sandpaper is too grabby, maybe a quick rub with turps?

I thought about doing something silly like just chucking them on and wearing them in, but that's the hard way - i'd rather an instant solution before they're fitted.

Any easy ways of doing this?

a porous finish will attract dirt too - so if you dull them the mud/sand/dirt etc will "stain" the rubber... just a thought... you might not like them shiny, but shiny is better than looking constantly dirty =)

same applies - my poly bumpstops stay filthy where they've been machined and were left 'dulled'... doesnt matter on the edges of some bump stops, but mud flaps it'd look pretty bad i reckon.

Mount the left flap on the right side and vice versa, drive down a beach really fast, do some donuts while your there, get bogged, go home and remove the right flap from the left side and mount it on the correct side. Done!!!

As for your naked chrome ladies, Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome paint, a airbrush and a naked ladies stencil will fix that too.
