WT will fit, but they are a different ratio.

What makes you think your front is on the way out?

What makes you think your front is on the way out?

when in 4wd and if im not accelerating, ( rolling down a hill or something) i get this rattle / shack that comes from front of the car and up to the transfer case , i have changed the t case and checked the uni joints and there fine so im thinking it has to be the diff. also does it matter that they have differnt ratio

It could be a bearing.

And yes it absolutely matters if they are a different ratio!!

Must be the same, or you will break shit VERY quickly

Wheel bearings? King pin bearings? Pinion or carrier bearings?

What about up and down movement? Not rotational movement.

The slop that you mentioned above is backlash, or lack thereof.

could be yeah. Have you drained the oil and checked for metal filings? If there has been a bearing or gear failure there is usually some metal in the oil.
