hi all im new to this forum, i just bought a sierra, shes an older one with a 1ltr engine in it and a 4 speed manual box, i would like a bigger engine and a 5 speed, i figure you guys and gals would be the experts to ask,
are there any bolt in conversion? whats some easy ones? are the lift kits and other mods the same for old sierras as new ones?

there are no straight bolt in engine/ gearbox combos from my understanding for the 1litre.
engine mounts and gearbox mounts would have tobe modified to fit another engine in.

as far as i am aware all the suspension components are the same... its just where they mount on the car changes

we dont believ that you have a sierra, best way to prove it is to post pics!!

Its always good to see another WA Zook owner here ! :wink:

We all luv pics here, so if you can, take some pics of your Zook and post them up... the WA guys are very friendly and helpful, there are a couple who have done engine swaps in sierra's, so they should have some advice for you... :wink:

awesome. yeah i get here back on thursday so ill post some picks up then.
anyone know of a gearbox conversion i can do to make mine a 5 speed with its 1ltr motor?
