I would really like to get the gas put back in teh Vits AC before work Monday (nothing bad, had to put a new hose on when I fitted Power Steer today)
so anyone around the place got access to teh gear and wants some cash/drinks/a night of intimacy with the Stek to fill it up tomorrow?

Yep I do, the guy next door. I can see him tomorrow morning if ya like and let ya know?
We could have got it done today if ya had not stuffed around all day with the steering shaft.

Dont get Bruce to help!!!
the box looks like it wont fit without pulling the radiator out but it does quite easilly
the column shafts are different, you cant cut down the spacer on teh manual steer setup to fit a ps setup and you cant bash em down shorter like a sierra
you can get the column shaft off without removing the box, you need to slide it all the way towards the box and then onto teh column end
I think my lines are off 2 different cars and they were both wagons so they seem to fit pretty shit.
the pump is easy, my bracket had a hole for using it with an idler adjuster (with AC) or a slot to adjust on the pump, like an alternator and if you have aftermarket AC now you are shit out of luck cause I bought the last compressor bracket to make it all work 4 years ago

Just move the a/c belt over the next v, and fix the ps leak,, then call it 'completed' :p
