bloke on here is selling a bullbar off an swb 89 vitara, wondering if it will fit my 96 swb softtop 1.6 efi

There were a few changes in the chassis' over the years. I'm not sure if the mounting points will work with the EFI SWB........

You may need to fabricate some new mounts, but the bar will still suit the look of the car.

if it didnt i doubt it'd be hard to modify to make it fit...

the difference between the front end of carby SWB vit & the EFI SWB is quite substantial & would take a bit to get it to work.

to the very best of my memory the arb bar bolts onto my 96 the same way as an ecb bar bolts to an 89, I think the difference was with the lwb

its a 10$ bar, i might just grab it and if it doesnt fit, so sweat off my back :)

arb list one part number for a lwb and one for a swb, I think that might back me up, dont come looking for your $10 from me if it it doesnt fit though :)
