can i just put rear diff side gears into a front diff and put it in the rear diff?

I cant see why not, but the 4pin will be stronger for drive.
Is this to sell?

Well the carriers swap, but have never swapped the side gears only.

haha she drove it with a flat tyre and in low range for probably 10ks
she thought it was weird that it was flat out at 25kph  munted the locker.

No I mean different shape, the front single pin diff sidegears have that wierd bit around the outside of em, the smaller 4 pin side gear might flap about a bit or not mesh properly
guess a welder will fix that

bugger you are right. i have a 4 pin front as well, it is just in a housing and i don't want to work.
