Hey guys
i've been having this problem lately when i accelerate the car hesitates for about 2-3 seconds then accelerates properly. i tried changing my plugs and leads. any ideas?

Sounds like the power valve in the cabry is not working properly.

Maybe a blocked fuel filter?

Try some injector cleaner

Or it could be that fibreglass roof of yours you better sell it to me for cheep

can you pull the error codes off the ECU, it could be the MAF, TPS or O2 sensors playing up?

Hey Dave try the injector cleaner and if that dont work then look into what Atari posted above :wink:

i would replace the fuel filter. I used to bulk buy as mine used to clog up frequently. It may be something else. But it sure reduces the load on the fuel pump.

yeah im leaning towards joe's theory of the fibro roof haha yeah i'll change the filter and get some injector cleaner and see if it makes any difference
