One of my reverse lights is stuck on permanently for some stupid reason. comes on as soon as i turn the key to the "on" position regardless of the gear its actually in or whether the lights are on or off. the other reverse light doesnt work at all, but it may just be a blown bulb, havent had a chance to look yet. im going to have a proper look tomorrow, but i was just wondering if anyone has had this problem before, or can recommend the best place to start looking, try to save some time...

It's either the switch on the gearbox or the wiring is shorting out somewhere

multimeter will tell me tomorrow if its shorting out somewhere... not a great photo, taken on my phone using the phones flash, but its the right way up, taken looking from the front of the car behind the extractors looking backwards... just wondering if someone can tell me which of these is the reverse/5th gear sensor (i think thats the other one)

Edit: yes, i know they both look pretty dodgy now ive actually looked at them properly...
