96 Sierra - Is that a coily or a leafy? They both were built in '96.

Here is a small list of places that may have seats that you can fit to your car.
Wreckers, jap wreckers, autobarn, Repco, Supercheap, Auto one, Stratos, ebay, gumtree.....just to name a few.

The easiest ones to fit to standard rails seem to be the autotecnica ones that are on special at repco from time to time at $300 a pair...
I've got some, and they were a pretty easy fit...

there are 2 types of these, one is $400 a pair and the better ones are $700 a pair. I had the $700 ones in a sierra a few years ago and on long trips i never got sore. they were sooo comfy. The $400 ones look like they have a little less padding and not as soft but ive never sat in them.

Don't forget, he said it's a '96 coily. I don't know of any seats that are an easy fit for them. It would suck for him to buy some aftermarket seats thinking he could just bolt them in. He will at least have to do some fabricating.

I've fitted a few different seats to coilys and leafys now. I'm yet to fit two seats the same way
Every seats requires a different method.
Its worth fitting new seats, but be sure to know that the costs don't stop with buying the seats.
