im being given a loan on what i need to upgrade to atm a 94 or 96 model hilux or maybe a 91 and these utes i have found all have had minimal offroad use and used to be used as a work car where they had their tools on the back and are still basically stock beside some have 31's and its the fact of im over soft top i travel to far and im just over it this car suits some one who has the time to go over with a welder and metal and fix all the lill issues... not me

what you drive or don't drive is your own choice, were just trying to get you to think.

IMHO i wouldnt spend 5 grand on it (and i doubt any one else will). and I think you will find thats why it hasnt sold yet.

it hasnt sold because its at the mechanics again from driving down the high way blew the head gasket... have some one waiting to come look at it. i been thinking long and hard about it and its gotta go and i do appreciate every ones thoughts and comments, its either that or a buy some ocmmodore or something but its that of i want to still be able to drive up and down the beach and go camping as being a uni student its the most affordable holiday i can get away on.

Luke as you know I have a 1996 dual cab hilux that I use as a daily drive, tow vehicle, support vehicle, and to carry all the camping gear, tools and spares for the Suzuki. Lots of people bag them but honestly they are a basic, tough, reliable thing. I have spent minimal money on mine over the past few years and it is something that I can lend to mates without wondering if it will break. My advice would be if you do buy one steer away from anything modified, keep it stock (except wheels, springs and shocks) don't go bigger than 31" tyres and you will love it. The kind of driving you do wont challenge a hilux. Then you can build up an LJ and a car trailer to tow behid it.

thats it 2stroker thats what im doing stock standard hilux with 31"s an just drive it

thats it 2stroker thats what im doing stock standard hilux with 31"s an just drive it
