Im not sure what your gears will be and yes you can use the airlocker with either diff ratio you wont have to change the locker if you change gears later on

Confirmed diff is out of a manual gv @ around 1030am from Marybough and its delivered to Caloundra by 400pm. Not bad. Ill pick her up in the morning.

If you want to pump up tires, or use any other air tools, YES, need a bigger compressor. Small one only good to operate the locker.
Not having ever used either, I am only going on 2nd hand opinions.

Mine looks like this.
The one in your pic appears different.
I was told some later gv and xl7's had a dana diff fitted.
That is not compatible with our vitara diff gears.
Hard to see details in pic.
But I'd say its the wrong one, sorry.

I paid 250 for a diff locally, when I went to get it, was only the axle housing.
So I got an expensive spare that probly never be needed.
Probably my fault, don't hear well.

If someone ever breaks a dana front diff, yours will be worth a fortune.

Looks like im driving to marybrough then. Who knows which is the correct part. I was told this is an 04 v6 manual GV Vitara. What the ????

That is the correct part that you are looking for, they have given you a XL7 V6 GV diff witch is the wrong part

I have seen one XL7 that did have correct diff, but they not supposed to have.

You asked for one thing they gave you another. Pretty simple really. I take it they didn't have a 5-seater V6 manual one to swap then?
