the only mechanic i take my car to (if i ever do take my car there) is andrews high tech automotive i know a couple of guys that worked there. They have been the most honest mechanic i have been to before.

HEY GUYS I CHANGED ALL MY HOSES AGIAN; FUEL PUMP ,CARBY,LEADS AND PLUGS . TOOK HER FOR A DRIVE SHE WAS RUNNING GOOD THEN SHE STARTED TO COUGH AND SPLUTTER THEN JUST STOP I TRIED TO START AND GOT NOTHIN IT WOULD SPARK UP THAN STOP

Did you check/change the fuel filter?? as well as check for vacuum leaks and vacuum lines all fitted in correct places?

ive swapped fuel filters but still not sure about hoses but im no mechanic so cant seem to get it right

take your oil filler cap off and look for white sludge. also where the breather hose goes into the air cleaner if the is any sludge your head gasket is probably rooted.
also give the old fuel filter a shake with a little bit of petrol in it and tip the fuel out the IN side and look for shit, if there is some dark fine black or orange rusty crap this can over time bleed through a filter and accumulate in the various narrow ports in the carb and make it do wierd shit.

id check the rotor cap it caused a hell allot of problems with mine and put a new one on and ran a heap better.
