Anyone used them or know who sells reversed wrapped leaf springs (eye wrapped under the main) in Briz? Seems to be a spring option im looking for. Long main leaf without excessive overall lift+minimal spring inversion under full compression compared to std wrap springs.

funny i spoke to someone today that said their front springs were reverse wrapped
I think the brand was Lovells the place i was speaking to was wa suspensions

yes.. i've used them on my first zook. They are made by lovells. They flex awesome

Cheers Ben! So im assuming both front and rears are both reversed wrapped. How many leaf in each pack? Did you have to take any out?
If possible could I get a few measurements off you such as bumpstop clearance(since u run ext shackles could i also have your shackle eye-eye length). A side on pic would be great just to show off the shackle angles on flat ground.

Now to try and track down a brisbane distributor

I can get some measurements and things but probably not til tomorrow... I'll count the leaves tonight though. Didn't remove any leaves.

Bear in mind I have stupidly long dodgy homemade shackles put on by a previous owner...

probably revearsed wrap, but who cares, as long as they flex back into the normal position then there's no problem... This is why i run OME leaves on my current zook as the springs have excellent memory. Extended bump stops help as well...

Yes the rears were lovells as well, teamed up with Koni shocks... are you going to run RUF?

I also now have koni shocks, but im looking specifically for reversed wrapped springs front and rear. I do not run bumpstop spacers because I have a virtual lift and the tyres clear. The reverse wraps deffinatly look alot happier under compression than the std wrap springs. Yea im also considering going RUF

i had lovells in mine pre-SPOA.. they were brilliant! very flexy and held their height - and they didnt develop the suzuki lean.

mine were 2" lifted - im not sure they were reverse wrapped though. Lovells are one of the few that make the leaves longer with the lift too.

i dont know why but 950mm e-e comes to mind - cant remember if thats front or rear - and it would be with the weight of the zuk on it.

Yes another good question as I currently have OME in mine and I still think they have made their mains too short!

i found out the other day that OME (or was it EFS?) have different rears for LWB and SWB.... SWB are 60mm longer than stock and LWB are only 10mm longer as theyre prone to inverting the shackle on the LWB.

I wonder howthesewould go? Obviously they are designed for SPOA, but I don't see why you couldn't run them SPUA.
Although, they way they overlap may make removing leaves a bit limited.

Shouldn't be an issue removing leaves. Their pretty much like a normal spring pack bar the extra half leaf up the top used to try and keep axle tramp under control

I will be running them in a spring-under configuration and will most likely remove a leaf to gain some extra flex.
Have you heard of anyone over your way running them like this?

And also the spring arch height, from the eye to eye centre-line down to the top of the main leaf.

We would not suggest taking out a leaf at all.

All I have in stock at the moment is the front springs so email linda at TT for the info on the springs.

Front - 35 3/4" eye to eye in a straight line.
37 1/2" along the main leaf eye to eye.
4 7/16" arch height center line to top of main leaf

Rear - 39" eye to eye in straight line
40 1/4" along main leaf eye to eye
4 1/4" arch height center line to top of main leaf.

Rear:

Finally got around to measuring mine...

Old sagged Dobinsons, measured eye to eye, along the main spring.
Front - 940mm
Rear - 1100mm
