nah i meant shit boxes with more than 2 inch lift, not spoa.

I've seen some big lifted Patrols that wobble like crazy, and i know a lot of Sierras wobble like crazy, and i'm glad they get put off the road.

If mods are done right they wont have any legal problems so those people wont have anything to worry about.

Things like huge shackles, bodylifts and poorly setup coil systems scare me, but yeah.. You can do it the right and wrong way

I lifted suziblu 5" and then put 31s on her, so about 7" overall. Swaybar out.

IMO she is lovely, very little roll, have had her on some very aquard angles, drifting sideways at 60+k and hit ruts that put her way up on two wheels, she never fell over.

On the road she tracks true an well.

Its not how high you go, as how you do it.

COG does come into it, yes, but do the maths, raise the vehicle, and widen it, COG is a constant, Widen more and tho its raised, you lower COG, = more stability.

WHAT - you can't alter the center of gravity point by widening the track. You can increase the stability by widening the overall footprint, but the acutal centre of gravity will still be the same height regardless of how wide you make the rig.

^^ add to that the extra unsprung weight we all add with rims and tyres too =)

Unsprung weight lowers COG, makes for rotten driving, but it makes for lower COG and so, lessened tip angle.
