vitara gearbox

has anyone ever filled a vitara's gearbox with oil from the gear changer? the filler hole has stripped itself ! help!!

yeah, no problem with filling the oil through the gear stick hole

but i'm finding it is taking an really long time for the oil to go down,i've taken the gearstick out and started filling and it stays at the same level,should there be something else to remove as well?

You CAN NOT FILL a Vitara gearbox from the gearstick level.

I just rebuild the gearbox in mine and the filler plug would not come out.

Drilled it, hack sawed it, still no luck had to mill it out and retap a new tread, now has a

new blue filler plug.
