My owner's handbook states the sierra at 910KG i think. the stock 1.3L produces 47KW

Which is a P/W of 52KW/T

A 4.5L petrol GU weighs 2250KG and has 145KW

Which is a P/W of 66KW/T

So the P/W argument is useless, even the (IMO) wrost choice in GU has a better P/W

The appeal on zooks come from;

- Cheap modifications and repairs
- Maneuverability
- Aftermarket support
- Engine conversion options
- More petrol efficient?

The P/W is significantly changed when for example, you're running a GTI engine + turbo or even a 1.6EFI.

Power is up while weight is pretty much the same.

When i bought my New 1L Sierra back in the early 80's, the Sierra had the highest power to weight ratio, it was a big selling point for Suzuki, and i am pretty sure the Sierra still maintained that with the 1.3L, in the 80's... as far as i am aware, the 80's was the only time the Sierra had the highest power to weight ratio... dont know if the 1.6L Vit still had it...
But it would be interesting to know if the current generation of Zooks, have comparable, or better, power to weight ratio's with the current big 4WD's ( non-turbo )...

there is no way in the world a rav 4 would beat a jimny. they dont even have low range. its a soft roader ffs.
