Has any one put 6" speakers in the front of there zook? Where abouts did you put them?
I have an idea of taking the map pockets off and putting them there on a spacer, but not sure what the door trim will look like under the map pockets. It might look real crap, and i dont really feel like making up fiber glass door pods...lol

Did you remove your map pocket? Or are they on the flat section between that and the handle? I was going to mount them there but i was not sure if there was going to be enough room for my knee...
Have you got a pic i can see?
Cheers David

I use Stock Locations with a Well Built 4 inch 2-way, then a Set of 6 inch in custom side panels and a 10 inch Sub to cover everything else... Sounds Sweet as and best of all.. I can re- install all the stock gear with no need to buy replacements when I sell it...

The poverty pack Vitara like I have only has the speakers in the dash.
I have been thinking of upgrading as well, but not a fan of door speakers unless they are flush mounted.
You end up kicking them alot if not in the right place.
Not that you get much option in the Vit, if you put them in the back and are loaded up with gear then it will block out the sound.
Might look at some replacement speakers for the dash but I don’t know if you can get good sound out of speakers that size.

Yeah...
You can get Decent sound out of a 4 incher, alot of quality, just not alot of Bass..
I Use Pioneer 4 inch 2-ways in the dash and they are Very clear..
JBL Have 4 inches that sound good too..
As For Bass, try and track down a Clarion SVR303 Under seat Sub..
It will fit just about anywhere in a Vitara and will give you some low end without chewing up alot of Space..

No need to amp my fronts.. there like 2 feet away.. and my Pioneer deck does a good job of providing a clean signal..
