I have one of the worlds only 1.6 litre 3cylinder Vitara's
I cannot figure out whats wrong with it... plugs are less then 2000k's old, fuel filter has been replaced, Hell the only thing I haven't done is the Leads !!!

sure it isnt getting spark and its not the injector not firing?

I will replace the leads as they need doing first, failing that, I will move onto the Injectors.

Have a look at the leads when you are replacing them for the tell-tail arc marks. Hopefully it is just leads cos you could be chasing it for a bit if it is an injector problem.

 mines runnin rough but its the dizzy cap i did have a 3cyl episode last week.... spark plug blew out....... scared the bejeesuz outa me at 110 k/ph

wow a Spark plug actually Blew out.... I ain't got that problem yet.. could be Highland Fuel...

Problem fixed...
Number 3 Plugged was totally gummed up with Oil... I replaced all the Leads and she is back to singing on all 4 cylinders !!
The Plugs were on Special at Repco so I got them for $70
|

Plugs were only replaced less then 200k's ago when I thought they were the problem but turns out they weren't it was the leads giving me grief

if you didnt replace the plugs and it come good then sounds like youve nailed the problem
lots of people do both and get excited when its fixed only to get it back later when the plug fouls again cause of a broken ring or something
