is the outer door handles on sierra both different ? as in drivers and passengers. i have just had doors re sprayed and have re assembled the passenger side fine all works good, but , the drivers side one when bolted up hits the paint work for some reason when lifted up to open the door, also doesnt pull the lock, i hade 4 doors in total and have mixed up the handles ( why i dont know if they are different or not )

any help would be appreciated

they are different.

The pushrod lever on the handle goes to the back edge of the door.
So looking at a handle out of the car, if it has the lever on the left it is a right door handle and vica versa.

right = right door and tail gate.

ill have a check tomoro and see if i can sort it out , also can you buy new door rubber seals thingo's , one of mine is munted im sure you can buy new ones with new clips some where ?
