I shot down to the Goldy today, and a massive slug of grease leaked out of my driver's side front wheel hub while we were watching the Pacquaio fight, and left a ~20cm grease trail on the concrete and also down the back of my tyre. I reckon a regular toothpaste tube's worth of goo came out. There was a bit of extra grease around that bearing area, but on inspection that's seemingly all still there... WTF?
It's the first time the zook has leaked a drop, and i'm no mechanic, but on inspection nothing looked suspicious apart from the extra grease around the hub (was always there - but not a toothpaste tubes worth), no strange noises or smells... drove it back home to brisbane and no issues... no new discharges of grease to report since sitting.

Grease coming out of the hub is normally oil washing it out.
Axles seals leaking? Your wheel bearings will be fine, but the cv in the hub needs grease. In 4wd only though.
If your in 2wd and the hubs are unlocked, it should be fine for normal driving. The cv's will still be lubed for steering only. But i suggest you have a look in there.
