its just over 1100 dollars to get them landed here.
and they dnt carry a spare wheel or jerry cans.
plus there is no high lift jack points or reversing sensors or led lights.

Reversing sensors in a jimny? Look over your shoulder and you've practically got your nose on the rear glass.
That whole bar is a high lift point! Wouldn't be too hard to bolt a generic wheel carrier to the off road armory bar, and Jerry cans are illegal on your back bar anyway.
Not to mention that with your two spares on the back plus a Jerry you'd have to beef up your back suspension heaps.

well u would only have i spare and a jerry cans.
if u where to high lift off the bar like that it could end up quiet nasty.
i mean i dnt really care if it doesnt happen.
every 1 can keep there standard plastics and not be able to carry a decent size spare around.
but was just an opputunity.
there also doing the same deal with sliders and comp style winch bars.

so is mine.
i dnt really need a rear bar cause my departure ange is around 80 degrees any way.
jsut some where to mount a spare 31 and some fuel.
see how we go.
if your after some sliders or a bar let us know.

i reckon for 2 grand Mr TwiN-SticK could make you a gold plated one.... would be worth asking if he has anything in the pipeline.

TSOR said he was gonna make one, and even with a double wheel carrier
which would be handy for me and my touring in the jimny
2 grand is a bit much though

I still plan too.
But I hate to burst your buble, but $2k aint far off the mark.
A KAYMAR bar for a patrol is arount $3K with dual swingaways

the weight would by far be the biggest factor... as much as weight up high sucks you're almost better off putting spares on the roof and spreading their weight over both axles.
smiffkid - surely given your place of work you can fab one up yourself with some help? would have to be cheaper than $2k in materials and beer.

APIO do a bracket that moves the spare over toward the hinges more, and up and out from the door. The bracket is adjustable, but I think only for 235 or 9.5 wide tyres. Their replacement rear bumpers look good too, but fibreglass, not steel!
