hey guys
ive looked on here and outer limits and cannot find any confident information about putting a g13b (carby 8v) head on a g16a (efi 16v) engine numbers might not be corret but thats what they say on the blocks
the 1.3 is carby and the 1.6 is efi
i have a stock 1.3 in the zook atm 91'
and a 1.6 efi on the floor.
will the 1.3 head bolt straight up and run with all gear "as is"
without changing pistons (so they wont hit the valves)
changing valves
i know ill need bellhousing adaptor and engine mount adaptor kit etc etc
also starter motor adapting and alternator etc and to use the 1.3lt clutch and what ever
so will the head bolt up and is it worth it over the 1.3 block ?
thanks guys

What's stopping you fitting the efi??

should bolt up, but when you have a better option, why not use it..

Do you have the vit speedo head?? It's an easy swap over, almost as if it was ment to fit..

If not Jrzook has done a write up on em in fab, make your own.. :D

Yeah, the cam belts are different widths, and the tooth profile is square on one and round on the other.
Should be able to fix by swapping timing pulleys on the crank. Just make sure its done back up REALLY tight as per the factory spec so it doesn't come loose and f*ck the crank keyway.

Oh, and click the www link in my sig for a 1600 adaptor kit :D
