i also wear racing gloves, booties and a full face helmet when i drive it... and the helmet has one of those stick on mohawks:

I'm saving up so i can add some other brands to my shopping list too, the NOS one doesnt fully represent the 'fooooly schick' nature of the beast.

Then once i've done that i'll convert it back to spring under and throw in some lowering blocks and gaffa tape a milo tin to the exhaust so i have something to scrape on speed bumps and driveways.

I told you mate, I paid $60 a rim for -60mm offset for the zook, I can't see why it would cost another $120 per rim to sandblast and paint

Fatzook you've misread... bakerboy is saying he got a brand new rim and center welded to -60mm, sandblasted, primed and powdercoated all for $60ea.

The guy who did my rims would have only charged about $50 a rim to machine out the center of an old rim, flip it and weld it wherever, except i got ROH bands and the chev rally centres off him BRAND NEW, plus his labour to weld the centers in.

My powdercoater was $30 to prime and paint, and $20ea for the sandblasting, so a total of $50ea to blast, prime and paint.

I think he was just saying he paid $60/rim for a centre cut and shut. No blast, prime or powerdercoat in that. ;)

Stuff arguing about cost anyway. You like them, they seem to be well made, you're happy ... all good! I routinely pay more than I should for stuff ... expensive tastes

Yeah that sounds exactly right... in my instance - he supplied the rim and center, as well as labour. Sure i could have grabbed some cheap used f100's and had them flipped, but how would i know that they were straight etc. Plus like i said, the rims are ROH (not the cheapest) and centers are proper pressed chev/ford ones, not imitation ones (again not the cheapest).

moph- i agree with you =) i like them and im happy!
