hi all
Safari website list the ss850hf for efi vitara does 91 - 99.
http://www.safarisnorkel.com/docs/snorkel/suzuki.html
i always thought it was until 94 because something was in the way.
does anybody know for sure?? people i have phoned have not been much help.
if it does not then is it easy to mod??

I'm not sure but I always get knocked back because mines a 95 EFI.
In one of my posts in my "Buckets Problems" post I have pictures of my engine bay...if thats ANY help for you to decide?

i think after 94 the battery was put on the passenger side in the way of the snorkel. but im not 100% on that

Hey Tim,
Mines a 95 and my battery is on the drivers side

the SV's have the battery on the passenger side & the air box on the drivers side.

96 they changed the battery sides over but the air box is still the same and in the same spot to

Ok i just reread this,as far as i can tell they will still fit.I have my snorkel from my 94 LWB here to go on my 96 SWB from what i can see there is nothing in the way to stop it from fitting.
The battery wont have anything to do with it as the piping runs between the engine bay panel and the outer panel.
If ya need any pics let me know and ill get some

Just thought i would pop this in here incase anyone seaches for info as to weather the snorkels will fit 95/96/97 models they do fit the same as the earlier models
Will post pics tomorrow

Should be all good as the ducting runs between the outside guard and inside guard, ill post pics when i get home so ya can see what i mean

This plastic pipe runs from the airbox up next to the battery
and pops out here under the wheel arch
and snorkel on
fitting it up was just the same as when it was on my 94 model lwb even with the battery on the different side

So it hooks up to the factory pipe shown in your pic?
And what happens to your indicator?
