whats a good sign that king pins are stuffed? one of mine the shaft thingo spins around

time to replace?

erm, No shaft thingo is meant to spin around unless its a driveshaft.

Do they have any play (the pin in the housing)? I had one like that, cleaned it up and loctite'd it up. Didn't move again!

i actualy just pulled mine apart..

the pin isnt ment to spin its welded in..

mine has a busted one... i am going to try to get a new one tonight..

Funnily enough, they are the same! All Suzukis from LJ50 to SJ80 (inc LJ80, Stockman, SJ40, SJ50 NT, SJ50 WT, and SJ70) have the same King Pin parts. Pins, shims and bearings. Also the swivel seal, felt and retainer are the same.

Funnily enough, they are the same! All Suzukis from LJ50 to SJ80 (inc LJ80, Stockman, SJ40, SJ50 NT, SJ50 WT, and SJ70) have the same King Pin parts. Pins, shims and bearings. Also the swivel seal, felt and retainer are the same.

i sell a WT/NT kit and a coily kit, both are very different in price.

i dont have a coily kit on the shelf at work to look at either to see the difference

So which kit is cheapest?

The Kingpins on all models are p/n 45610-63000, bearings are p/n 09265-15002, which is a Koyo 30302

does that include wheel bearing?? as they are very diffrent..

but it may be as simple as a different seal, as the swivel hub kit comes with a replacement grease seal, i know they are different between leafy and coily

but the price difference is huge, so it has to be more than that

The swivel seal on both is the same part number; P/n 09285-00002.

It could be the Jimny that is different?

swivel ball seal would be the same, but the seal that goes on the hub for the wheel bearing comes in the kit, because you have to remove the hub to do the job.

the leafy kits are cheapest.

and japanese bearings labeled 30302 are actualy 31302's, so if you have either number, its the same

interesting.. however i got my whole kit for $210 delivered... pitty leafy ones are nearly half that... repco stuffed me around for my kit..

i payed 140 for my swivel hub/wheel bearing kit and that was with free postage...that was an ebay jobbie though

the swivel hubs can be done for around $100 coily front wheel bearings cost!
