Ok so I have been using the search function for two days positive there would be something on this topic but I have come up with nothing so here goes.

I'm going to redo the suspension in my WT sierra with commo and hilux shocks and I'm going to have to extend the bumpstops to suit. I'm about to put an order in with lowrange and I was looking at the bumpstop options that they offer. From what I have gathered from the threads that I have been reading, sierras use a 2 bolt style bumpstop? but I have no idea what the stock length is.
I'm pretty sure that I'm going to need at least a 25mm extension on top of the stock length. The only two bolt style bumpstop that lowrange sells is approximately 57mm total (conversion from inches). Will these be big enough? and if they are to big, can I just cut them down until they are the proper size?

I'm planning on removing leaves from the spring packs and running three leaves all around plus fitting the longer travel shocks, do I need to get some extended brake lines?

on the front i just bolted the standard bumpstop to a piece of 30mm rhs which i then bolted to the standard bolt holes. doing it this way i was able to
move the bumpstop forward 50mm the same distance my diff my diff has been moved.
when i get around to it i will just weld a bit of rhs to the pad thing the rear bumpstops touch.

so your just saying put a bit of bar under the bumpstop and run bolts all the way through? will this work for the back to? isn't the rear bumpstop on the diff?

no, on the front i used RHS with 4 standard sized bolts ie bolted the bumpstop to the RHS
and then bolted the RHS to the original bumpstop mount. if you have moved
your diff forward you need to make sure that the bumpstop doesn't miss the diff.

on the rear just weld/bold a bit of RHS to the pad on the chassis that the bumpstop touches.

it was a seppo braided line that busted, i had the dodgy line while i was
waiting for some adr jobbies to turn up.
brakes and tyres are the two things i don't like to dodgy up.
everything else is fair game but.

narh they have to have a sleeve over the top of the braid to be adr compliant.
my fronts have the sleeve, but my rear flex line is still a seppo jobbie
