A few weeks ago out in the bush we heard a rattle develop during a drive. Back at camp we found this:



So after a few bush repairs:






And the resulting repair to get the old girl 260klms home:





the repairs were undertaken by a good mate who really pulled me out of the poo, the repair got me home.


Does anybpdy know if there are aftermarket parts available for this? Genuine I am sure will scare the crap out of me...

IMO this is a bit of a design flaw in the GV's. Only a rubber bush positioning the top of the strut. I suppose I can't complain, the zook is 9 years old and the mounts are original.

I reckon I'll replace both as a precaution.
