I just got a massive insurance bill for my GV, so need to get some money back in my pocket, so i am selling my old GV coil springs, i am asking for $25 per spring, but am open to any reasonable offers, see pic below, have been told these will fit a Vit, not sure what year, and will give lift...
Springs are off a 2001 GV
2 x Front + 2 x Rear = $100

My GV started leaking oil badly, but i dont know where from... engine oil ok, brake fluid ok, powersteering ok, diff looks ok, the odd thing is, its leaking an almost colourless oil, it looks like clear oil...
Anyway it left a puddle in the driveway, so i have no zook at the moment, its at Suzistore, they will begin working on it tomorrow, and it could be up to 3 days before i get it back, hopefully sooner...
Sooo, i need money to pay for repairs...

Sounds like the symptoms of a rear engine seal.

Nah, dont wish that on me lol, it was a diff pinion seal, and the diff housing plate was pretty buggered too... so it all got replaced, and got FW Hubs put on as well, so hopefully it wont happen again...

the fronts will, i'm pretty sure the rears won't due to the smaller diameter at the top of the springs.

Hey Macbear, you should just sell the front ones separately and make something off the springs rather than just binning them. My 2c

Fair enough... ok will split them up... would the rear springs be ok for a trailer or something else, wouldnt want them to be wasted in the bin...

My 04 has fluid filled engine mounts which emitted a similar oil when rooted.

How can 4 coil springs mess the place up? Surely you can store them in the shed or something?
Is your landlord a bit of a nazi?

The shed is full... they are just sitting on top of a box of other auto stuff that wont fit in the shed, under the eaves... ummm no comment about the landlord... i was a in rental for 12 years, but the big rise in rent priced me out of the market... so unfortunately i had to move in with family... yep So all my shite is just messing the place up, or so i am told, so i try to keep the peace...
