I got to work today to find my christmas present, a sweet bonnet for the car. Thanks to PJ Zook I can finally get rid of the ropes and occy straps currently holding the air brake down, and get a nice straight panel on. I'll have to crank out the roller and paint it green, then it'll be ghetto goodbye, he he.
Just got a Q - what's the topside latch in the dead centre of the bonnet for?
Also - whats the goo that holds the bracing to the panel? Some of the dollops have come free - might as well fix while the panel is off

Cool. I got some spare sikaflex, i'll whack a glob on now. Not the same colour as the body caulking on either of my bonnets - I wasn't sure if it was the same stuff.
