i have a piece of pipe running end to end through the already existing tube between each chassis rail.

hey im thinking about doing this but would there be any drama's if i was doing a chassis extention for ruf?

My NT LWB has a 2" chassis extension for RUF and a bar mount like this. Do the chassis extension 1st, or make allowances for the extension if you do the bars 1st.

Yer ill do the extention first but I need to male a custom bar now anyway cause my winch is bigger than the bar

Would the arb style mounts hold a 12000lb winch.

No I am pretty sure the ARB bar mounts are only made to take the 6000 pound winch? You might have to make stronger mounts? thicker steel plate and bolts? :?

the other thing to consider with a arb bar is that people cut 50% of the mounts off so they can fit bigger tyres.

The chassis rail mounts on the ARB are shit and piss weak.
I thought my mounts were some farm hack dodge mounts, then i saw a proper ARB bar.. same stupid mounts.
