Hi all.
just fitted jimny power seering to the lwb, question is do i need a steeing dampner as well ?? Jimny pitman arm does'nt have whats required, ie a couple of holes.

I have Jimny power on mine and found you don't need the dampner. JMO

Same with 33's and vit ps. No dampner. JMO

Same. Unless you have a buckled rim like my ute did. Then you need a new rim. So no, you don't need a dampener

I have vit steer & yes I need a dampener..
I can get it to wobble over bump's, just a lil help to stop said wobble & all would be well, but the only one that will help IMO is the calmini one, & haven't been able to find another one like it, & yes have looked..

I have fitted 15 or so power steer to sierras, some do and some dont shimmy.
You can drill the arm, modify your bracket to fit or just get a jimney tough dog return to centre dampner, I think alot of sierras shimmy depending to springs and rim ofset. I sugest try it and see.
