electric fault

does any one no why my head lights stay on when the key is turned off.
also my wipers go on soon as you turn the key once you cant turn them off, asides turning the key off

blinkers make a buzzy noise and dont work.

could it be this third fuse every body talks about?

its worth a try to look at the fuse as it can make some weird things happen.

sounds like possibly a bad main earth

Headlights should stay on when the key is turned off.. you have to turn them off manually...

yea i mean that, but when you do it manually its still stays on

my indicators do that sometimes, but for me its when there are between being on and off, and they still work fine.

but yeah i would check the earths and the fuses.

ok sorted the wipers and lights out.
wiper motor was pluged into the rong plug.
coursing the lights to stay on and wippers to come on as soon as ignition is turned on.
still have the prooblems with the indicator, the black box down near the fuses buzzes when indicator right only.
does that mean i nead a new box?

That is the flasher relay. Pull it out and get a new one and shell be all good.

Does the other side indicator work and just not the buzzing one?

left flickers fast and right buzzes

all of them acept the front ones that go on the bull bar

Plug em in & try again.... the flasher is expecting a amount of load, if it doesn't get it, IE a bulb is blown, it play's up to let the tight arse driver know it time for a 2nd hand bulb.. :lol:

Deff not ny blown bulbs. Will try connecting all indicators up tommorow
