I have a couple of questions.....

I can get a 16valve sohc g16b complete block and head (no manifolds and exhaust, alternator) for 180.......
It was supposedly running well in a vitara.

NOW

Is it worth me doing it?
How Much would it cost to get all the wiring done?
Do i need to use new engine mounts?
Is it more or less bolt in(Can fab up some stuff...)?
Is that the carby motor?(Sorry not that good with motors give me anything else and we can talk....! )
The air intake is on the other side yeah(Passengers!)?
Any thing else i have to think about?

Ah yeah the motor thats in mine is rooted....2nd one gone

It might cost a bit to track down all the missing bits, especially with the price of EFI manifolds, wiring loom, ecu, EFI fuel pump, etc. The cheapest way to utilise it would be to put your 1300 head onto the 1600 block.

16v have a better balanced crank (8 counter weights instead of 4) and your 1300 head should bolt on giving you a solid bottom end.
Not sure if they bolt in the same as the 8v but if they do I did it all in a weekend without adapters 8)

If i got the 1.6 and just used the block then wacked the head and cam in i would have some more power....

Is the 1.6 the same boar or bigger?

This is from the guys PM! I know him well his has a VERY nice zook!

toyota nikki twin barrel carby (this thing ROCKS with the mid range camshaft)
1.3 intake manifold modded to fit the larger bore on the toyota carby
Mid range camshaft. (these new are $395 from suzi sport)
