Haha nar, most of our member preferred WA suspenions and others so it just sorta didn't continue...
I don't need Pedder's to tell me the previous owner of my Sierra was a dodgy fucker

What type of steering does a jim have,
if it was a sierra, it would be a bent drag link

If it is the same, there will be a long rod from end of steering box, to a point on the tie bar (from one wheel to the next)
Could be front or rear of diff, never cloely looked under a Jim

If they have a rag joint, on steering column, under bonnet, near firewall, it could be torn

Yeh that setup.
I have a feeling that the rod from the steering box to the ball join thas a small bend in it over the lenght of the rod.

No i'm not saying all mechanics, coz they all dont. i'm just refferring to a chain that uses a free 14 point safety check to lure in unsuspecting people into their business to get business.
They always find something

If the drag link is bent, that would do it...
Check it against a straight edge, then you'll know if that's the problem or not...

Probably replace it, it'll probably never be as strong again if you straighten it...

rag joint is a rubber connection in steering column, acts as a uni joint, and noise suppression..and often prevents horn working

...not with my other car, they said it was fine. same with both of my parents, they've used pedders for wheel alignments on each of their cars, and had the safety check done, both came up saying they were fine. again, i stand by my local pedders. plus, the news report never once said "all" pedders shops...
