Hey guys im new on this forum,i need help with ideas I just brought myself a holden drover 1.3L with 1ltr transfercase and 92 mod wide tracks diff everything else all stock with 3inh leaf that came with it. (not put on yet) So i want know will it be to high with 3inch because i was planning to put 2 inch leaf and work out what tyres go with them?? any ideas

nah man, 3 inch is rough as all shit. thats why im selling mine. but it comes down to what you want to do, what kinde of wheeling you into, and what are your future mods..

Agreed. Someone I know used to have 3"springs and I was shocked how bad the ride was. They should be sold with a kidney belt.

what brand are they? dunno if there are too many 3" leafs around anymore
just take some leaves out and it will be softer and lower
FWIW I talked to kings springs about 3" ages and ages ago and they say they stopped making them fullstop as they need to be stiff as the length of the main leaf is longer than the distance between pin mount and shackle fully stretched so if you jumped it high enough you could really tear some bits out

thanks guys it help i dont know what barnd it been repainted and it just sitting in the back of the car so the 2 inch would be the ideal and want to do some extrime tracks i been out glass house mountain bush on the weekend doing night driving and it keep dragging on the bottom on some of the hard course so that why i was asking with the 3 inch if was a good idea.

yeah just go the new 2inch lifted springs, improve the approach angle with some kind of front bar and get some sliders, and a tank guard
