how you going pples, you know how some pple have done the 3/4 elliptic rear?? has anyone done it to the front?
Probably, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

if not! why
Leverage. The front end would have a tendancy to sway side-to-side because the front end of the springs is no longer fixed to the chassis, but to a length of spring, and that is going to flex and intoduce (more!) movement into the whole assembly. Onroad, that would make handling atrocious. Offroad the tyres would end up pushing the axle to the side instead of steering. I can't think of anything that would make this a good choice!

also is this a leagle modification
I've heard of it being engineered for REAR applications (but pins have to be fitted to lockout the extra flex for onroad). I can't imagine any engineer in his right mind passing it in a front end application.
IMO you should go with some longer leaves. It's been done plenty of times and proven to work.
