You can do it cheaper than that. And its not that hard to put in. I think it was about $400 shipping. plus what ever the exchange rate for the complete kit. I just email deiter at d&g tuning. He speaks good english. but I think he must be a busy man because it was a ll sorted in about 2 emails. then didnt answer me back to say they were sent. they just turned up.. lol

Castor Arms look like the ones I think someone said Outdoor Auto sell. They are custom for a 4.5 inch lift. made by a mate and me at my work. They are over corrected at the moment with my 80mm lift though.

those flares are pretty cool but my 31s on a neg 22 rim only sit just out side the guard any way, if they where on a 7 inch rim with a neg 12 they wouldn be a problem

nothing that some rubber flare extensions would fix

remember most of jap jimnys are narrow track, so the extensions of those flares would help them for a wider tyre... but for us it would be pretty much the same of our plastic flares

the good thing would be the open space that these flares give you, so the chance to drop some bigger tyre with less scrubbing..... youll still have to do lots of chop to remove the plastic and steel flares, but the final result would look cleaner and siiiiiiiick


this jim is running 245/75/r16 tyres.... 30.5inch ..... and although it has some body-lift, I think it would still fit without the BL

31500 yen....... close to 380aus dollars...... not bad, but how much would be the shipping

I just a price for 20%reuction gears for my jimny for trail jimny.

750 for the gears and another70 euro for shipment so 820 euro to my door step with a simple plag and play installment with no other mods needed.

Just remember they say to get a new chain too, as the old one will have settled with your old gears. Only talking off what other people have been told, but I think the new chain is expensive.

Not mine, but says it has 31s and looks like guard chop and massive offset rims. Not 100% sure though.

but prob Ill start with some 215 (used would be great) and the original rims... so I can have more time to fix the gearing.... I dnt have money now, and I cant wait to do some wheeling, and have money for lift, gearing, tyres, barwork, ect, all at once would be too hard


I wouldnt mind 235s.... but for wht I have read, ppl with that or 30", they have gearing problems.... and fix the gearing is only really worth it if you put some 31s on it.... in order to get back to standar

Once i have fixed the gearing i will be going over to a 16" rim from smiffkid with some 235's/85 maxxis treps and the height is about 30.5" and all should be sweet.

so if you see there is enough room for the tyres.... pretty bad decision of suzuki to create the small wheel arch of jimnys flares..... good thing is they leave the original space of sierras behind it.... so we can still chop em

not really, most of those jap jimyns have 3".... maybe 3.5".... toooop 4"... they dnt sell more than that... and they do the mods

maybe I would have to lower the pic bit more, but still would be pretty much like that

most of it is the virtual lift, you see a big open space between the tyre and body.... is just we have the metal/plastic flares were in this pic is just nothing..... and not having our plastic body flares the lower part of the body is the end of the door.... rather than we have more plastic for rock sliders ahahha

I looks about a 3.5" looking at the angle of the back radius arms because mine rear arms sit almost level.

Can you put crop on our standard jimny flares to give us a better idea on the size of the lift.
