Save me making another topic, if I get a 2 1/2 inch system made to suit original manifold will aftermarket extractors still bolt up? So question is do aftermarket extractors have the same mounting arrangement as standard?

I'd say 2.5 inch is total overkill dude. 2 or 2.25 would be plenty big enough. Plenty of debate regarding exhaust size/back pressure etc but I think the general consensus is if you go too big you will lose low down torque/power.

Regarding whether extractors have the same mount as standard... it depends on the brand of extractors. Some are made to bolt straight up, others are sold as weld in. Think hurricane headers do both sorts from memory.

LOL i just got my Exhaust done @ Windsor Exhausts, Not only did they do a top notch job, they did it relativly cheap too. No real power Gain, Throttle is a bit more punchy now though which suits my style just fine.

Went back to the shop and the mechanic was really good. We spent the next hour removing the exhaust at the manifold and took her for a spin. No difference unfortunately. So all it leaves is timing belt.

Went out to the bendigo fourwheel drive track today and had some awsome fun! Only trouble is on steep hill climbs my car stalls! Fuel bowl isn't set high enough. Spewing. I'll get some pics up.
