I want to move the bonnet opener out of the glovebox and to a bracket accessible from the front underside. It'd be better if the cable was 2ft shorter so just wondering where I can get custom lengths of this stuff from?
What is the proper name for this type of cable too?

You could chop up an old mechanical brake cable off a bike, no?

theres different grades of bike cable too - with different coatings inside the plastic housing - its well worth investing in good quality as they never jam up.

For sure - after my bonnet flinging up at 100k's I won't skimp on quality
I'll see what grades they got available, hopefully something that can also handle the heat of the radiator.

I need one with an outer section ~70cm long, give or take a centimetre or two.
