Hey do any of you guys have a 32/36 webber on your 1.3L.
If so would you be able to let me know what size jets you are running so I can havens base to start tuning from.

Should be a few threads on it but as a strating point with a 1.3 that is healthy and has extractors and a 2inch exhaust system try:

Pri/Secondary

Idle: 60/50
Mains: 140/135
Airs: 170/180

Should get you very close, worked for me with an AFR of 13:1 across the board.

Thanks dan. Now I can try find a medium between those sizes and what I have now. I am trying to get 10.5:1 for my turbo 1.3L

On a somewhat related note, how do you guys tune your stock carbies? I know I'm running rich at the moment by the soot and black smoke, but how do I get the sweet spot?

ill have to have a look at a stock carby to see.

but to do it well you will need a stoichiometer.(tells you what air fuel ratio you are running)

then you simply adjust the carby. (either using different size jets or adjusting screws)

Are you playing with jets on the stock carb? The only other adjustment besides the choke mechism is the idle mixture screw. This is fairly simple to adjust, just start screwing it in until you get the fastest, smoothest idle then back it off like an 1/8th or 1/4 turn. DO this with the enngine warm.

i did a write up a while ago on the zook carby .
look at your plugs, pics are better.
Idle mixture tuned to factory specs, is a bit rich. but the engine idles nice.

What mods do you have?
Unless you have rejetted your carb, There is no mixture setting as such besides the idle mixture.
Check your float level (should be 7mm). If this is out you may run rich.
