Ive had this suzuki brought to me to rectify this week.
Just had a 1.6 EFI vitara engine fitted by a workshop in perth.
Unfortunatly im not allowed to mention the name of this place.
Im not sure where to start with this car.
It does not even have a fuel filter, the sump is still vitara and is resting on the diff, Pwr steer belt does not align and the bell housing bolts, well the pics say it all.
He wants the car to do a trip across Aus in May
Hope the pics work as first time attempting them.

Please do mention the name of the place, so the rest of us don't get work done there...

WOW!! Why can't you say the name of the shop? Surely it would be to the benifit of the suzuki community to know where NOT to go ?

Tell him to fuck off, thats what! No reputable shop would carry out these works. They'd just refuse the job.

Do you heros not get it? somebody goes look at this shoddy job, company involved takes offense to that comment, after all whats to say that person is qualified to judge, and I AM THE POOR BASTARD GETS THE FUCKING SUMMONS FOR IT
There are ways to go about this sort of thing but as judgment has already been offered up on the quality its too late, you want to know pm the guy, but seeing nobody here will likely get such work done by a random mob in WA whats it matter

So if you can't mention who and where the work was done, can you at least mention the places that DIDN'T do it? I don't imagine it was any Suzuki shop...

I'd agree. This would be a nail in the coffin of a suzuki shop.

Suzi store didn't do. None of my work is like that.
My lips are sealed on who did it. I dont need my arse sued.
The owner drives a $120,000 Merc as his main car. Havent been told on how much he paid. At the moment trying to work out a quote to rectify the problem and fit the rest of the accesories that he wants.

I recently had first hand experience of what can happen when you name a company on a public forum, and then proceed to make defamatory comments ( slander ) about them, its not fun....
As much as i would like to know who this company is... as you said, there are other ways to go about this sort of thing... and without knowing the full story about the work done... well... i choose to keep my opinion to myself...

This is NEARLY as bad as my highly qualified carb mechanic.
I get my car back yesterday for the 5th time and it's running better than ever. I get it home and give it a wash with all my joy. Get around to the back and the roof has a 1 FOOT LONG DENT THATS 3 inches deep!!! It is where the back window meets the roof. Totally caved in and pushing the door down. He parks cars in his workshop under a car on a hoist. HE DROPPED THE FUCKING HOIST ON MY ROOF!
You can only imagine what is going to happen when I go say hi this morning. Sorry for the hijack and vent.
